Iftar Ramadan ( 13233 fasters at the Iftarsto the needy and orphans’ families):
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “Whosoever feeds a fasting one, he will be rewarded”. “Men fatar sae’man kan laho mesla ajraho, gheir anaho la yanqous min ajer al sae’m shaye’”.
Ramadan is the month of mercifulness and intercommunication between the Muslims; it is the month of generosity and open-handedness. In fact, the Islamic Welfare Association (ISWA) confirms this through Fasting Dinners (Iftars) Project that is implemented as follows:
1- Ramadan Dinner Meals (Iftars):
Ramadan dinners are held by ISWA in Saida, Tyre, Iqlim Al Kharoub villages, villages of the liberated South and the Palestinian camps at South Lebanon. ISWA sponsored persons and others from different areas of action participate in these dinners during all Ramadan days .
2- Hot meals:
ISWA distributes hot meals to the needy families in Saida city, to about 3100 meals

Food Package (928 food packages):
ISWA offers food packages to its sponsored orphans and to the needy within its areas of action in cooperation with the charitable people, foodstuff benevolent traders in Saida, and the foreign associations.

Fiter Zakat (279 families):
ISWA distributed the Fiter Zakat to the orphans and the needy aiming to have a united and consolidated society, where every Muslim pays his Zakat which will be distributed among the orphans and the needy to enable them to buy the Eid necessities.
Qurbani (855 Qurbanies to 8550 beneficiary families):
The Almighty Allah said: “therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice”. ISWA is always concerned about the commemorating of the Prophet’s Honourable Sunnas in the Muslim society and one of these Sunnas is Eid Qurbani.
ISWA receives the Qurbanies, and then they are slaughtered and distributed in the first and second day of Eid to the sponsored individuals and the needy people. By commemorating this blessed SUNNA, the spirit of contribution between the poor and his wealthy brother in Islam is clearly revealed and as a result of all that, everybody will have the chance to enjoy these blessed days.
Eid Clothes (5288 new clothes to the sponsored orphans in both Eids, Al Fiter and Al Adha):
ISWA offers new clothes for the sponsored orphans in both Eids (Al-Adha and Al-Fitr) and collects financial donations and aids from the shops in Saida and from the foreign associations in order to enter happiness into the children’s hearts and to let them feel and enjoy the atmosphere of the Eids like the other children.
