Orphan sponsorship at home:
ISWA has always been careful throughout its progress and since it was established in 1985 to develop a new system of caring for the children so as to provide and secure a normal and good upbringing of the orphan child. So the ISWA adopted sponsoring the children where they live with their immediate family at home where they can live a normal child life and have family care and are not deprived of the direct mothers’ care and love and where the mothers are not deprived of their God’s gift of motherhood as well.
ISWA cares for (1316) sponsored families distributed among the following areas:
- Saida City - Palestinian Refugee camps in Saida and the South - Tyre and villages of the District - Villages of Iqlim Al-Kharroub
- Monthly Financial Care: Monthly financial, medical treatment and Hospitalization

- Educational Care: This includes paying school fees, books and stationery,School clothing (uniforms), and transportation
- Social Care: This is the ISWA most important concern and it is paid more attention and concern than the financial sponsorship. Working with the mother is always viewed as an important factor, influencing the whole family. Helping, guiding and directing the mother to give her children a good, righteous and honest upbringing can be achieved by means of weekly periodical home visits and meetings that are a continuous process. Furthermore, it can be done by putting health, social and educational issues on the top of the family concerns and also by the continuous follow-up of the sponsored children’s study and daily school homework.
 - Islamic Care: This includes Islamic religious courses such as memorization of the Holy Quran and the Prophet’s Biography. - Recreational Care: The ISWA continues offering services for a good upbringing of its sponsored children through extra-curricular activities such as trips, camping and summer educational courses.
